We have an exciting opportunity for an inspirational, innovative and outstanding teacher to become Head of our COIN centre at West Ewell Primary School and Nursery. We are looking for an experienced, passionate classroom practitioner to work with our wonderful COIN pupils and to help motivate and encourage them to be the best they can be, regardless of barriers.

We are happy to be flexible with this role and would consider a job-share or flexible working request.

We are an inclusive, culturally diverse, thriving, happy and oversubscribed 2-form entry school which has been rated as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in its previous two inspections. We have a nurturing environment and put emotional wellbeing at the forefront of what we do.

We have a low COIN centre for up to 21 pupils with developmental language disorders/delays from Years R to 6. Children spend half of their day in our COIN centre and then integrate into their mainstream classes for the other half of the day, which enables them to be fully immersed the school community.

Our staff are ambitious and forward thinking; we invest in the professional development of every member of the school community and have a talented and dedicated team of teachers and learning assistants who work across the school to support, guide and challenge all children so they reach their full potential.

Experience of working with SEND pupils is desirable but not essential as we will offer training and support.
