Vision and values

The preparatory school aims to establish a love of learning in each student by creating a positive and stimulating environment. Teachers strive to provide a holistic, balanced and varied curriculum so each pupil can reach their full academic potential. The values they promote are: mutual respect, independent thinking, positive attitudes and participation.

Knightsbridge School concentrates on classical education, with an emphasis on literacy and reasoning, as well as encouraging children to take part in extra-curricular activities. It offers an extensive programme, from judo and fencing to ballet and cookery. A modern language, either Italian, Spanish, Mandarin or Greek, must also be taken alongside French lessons.

ISI report

“Knightsbridge School is highly successful in meeting all of its aims. The achievements of its pupils, including those of children in the EYFS, are excellent. Pupils of all abilities, including those with SEND or EAL and the more able, make rapid progress. Many older pupils are successful in gaining entry to highly selective senior schools.”
