What we’re looking for

The successful candidate will positively contribute to raising standards of attainment and achievement for all pupils, providing high quality teaching, support and guidance to all pupils in their care. This will be achieved through fully utilising their skills, talents, knowledge and expertise and by setting a positive example in their own professional behaviour.

This post offers an experienced and suitably qualified teacher the opportunity to lead, manage and administer a successful, exciting and thriving curriculum area. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven and ambitious leader with a track record of raising and maintaining standards. As a Head of Department, you will have the opportunity to advance your leadership and managerial skills in an Academy which encourages and supports leadership development at all levels.
