Thank you for your interest in the role of Head of Maths at Edge Grove. This is a full-time position to start in September 2023.
We are seeking an inspirational individual who has extensive experience in teaching Maths at Key Stage 2, 3 and possibly 4 and 5. Edge Grove pupils have an academic ability ahead of the national average and enjoy the school’s focus on child-centred learning. The successful candidate will not only be able to deliver exciting and effective learning in the classroom but will also liaise with other Academic Heads of Departments to develop the school’s overall academic strategy. They will also contribute influentially to the school’s co-curricular and pastoral programme of activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to develop their career towards a future senior leadership position and to work alongside a number of colleagues with a mathematical specialism.
Edge Grove is proud of its status as a standalone independent prep school serving the North London and Hertfordshire areas and prepares its pupils for a wide range of academically selective day and boarding, 11+ and 13+ schools.

Founded in 1935, we are a vibrant and successful (IAPS) Day Prep School for boys and girls aged between 3 and 13, characterised by a genuine commitment to the pursuit of excellence. There are currently around 430 pupils at the School and approximately 150 staff.
