Head of Pre-Prep
This is an opportunity for an experienced leader looking to move into or enhance their senior leadership or seek a new challenge. They will be passionate about teaching, pastoral care and the Pre-Prep environment in particular. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an oversight of a wide range of aspects of Early Years development and education, be dynamic and forward thinking in considering enhancements to their provision, have excellent communication skills and be willing to contribute to the wider life of a busy and highly successful girls' prep school.

Bowdon Preparatory School for Girls is an independent, non-denominational day school for girls aged 3-11. It is situated in Altrincham in Cheshire and has 330 pupils. It was opened in 1983 by Mrs Tan, who ran it as a proprietorial school for 30 years until her retirement in 2011.
Originally based in Stamford Road, Bowdon, the current premises were acquired in 2011 when a secondary school closed down; Bowdon Prep, with the help of a charitable trust set up by parents and staff, moved into the former school building and the current headteacher was appointed.

The school encourages kindness, compassion and tolerance, and it fosters the values of courtesy and responsibility in pupils. Its aim is to ensure all students are provided with an academic and challenging education, and that each girl achieves her best, whether in academics, creative arts or in sport.

Pupils' social skills are highly developed and are a real strength of the school. Relationships between pupils across the school are outstanding. Pupils demonstrate a genuine sense of care for one another. They want to make a difference and make their community a happy place.
