We have an exciting opportunity to join the Boarding team as a Resident Houseparent, due to a large increase in our student numbers.  This is a non-teaching role with a focus on supporting all aspects of boarding life at The Grange (TSIMS).

This is a wonderful opportunity to work with well-disciplined, highly motivated and talented students from all over the world in an extremely pleasant and fulfilling environment. 

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working with young people in an educational setting, and be empathetic, calm and approachable.  Working with the Head of Pastoral and the Senior Houseparent you will be a lead member of staff on duty three evenings a week and every other weekend.

Taunton School is over 170 years old and is an Independent School for approximately 1000 boys and girls aged 0-18 years, with circa 300 boarders. We aim to challenge, inspire and nurture young people to succeed in a global community.

Taunton School International Middle School (TSIMS) was set up in 2012 for children aged 9 to 14 years. TSIMS is located three miles off campus at The Grange, Kingston St Mary and aims to encourage gifted international students into the School at a younger age to improve their English and gain all-round skills, before transferring to the Prep and Senior Schools.
