Individuals and Societies Teacher (Geography specialist)

International School Brunei requires a Geography specialist to join the Individuals and Societies Faculty. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching KS3 to KS5 Geography, with IGCSE and IBDP experience a distinct advantage.  

Established in 1964, International School Brunei (ISB) has nearly 60 years of experience as a non-profit, vibrant, inclusive school. Geography forms part of the Individuals and Societies Faculty, which comprises the Group 3 IBDP subjects, and is a compulsory subject for all students at KS3. At KS4 IGCSE (through CAIE) Geography is a popular option subject and Geography is offered at both HL and SL at IBDP.   

ISB is an inclusive school, therefore the successful candidate will need to have a wide range of pedagogical approaches to teaching and be able to deliver innovative and engaging lessons which challenge all students in a supportive environment.  

The successful candidate will have (as a minimum):    

• a B Ed. Teaching degree in a relevant field   
• a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a PGCE or equivalent teaching diploma   
• experience teaching Secondary Geography to KS5
