ITC Technician – IT Services

 

Strode College has a rare and exciting opportunity for an IT Technician. The IT team support our diverse range of systems, from servers to desktops, network infrastructure, security systems, and firewalls to keep us up and running. This role will give you a wide-ranging experience. You will be working in a multi-platform environment with both Microsoft and Apple products, an ip telephony system, a range of AV resources and the campus-wide network to ensure that the systems are operating effectively and that they are secure. 

If you’re great at using your technical knowledge to find solutions and you’ve got experience of working in a customer-focussed IT role, take a closer look at our job. 

 

It is essential that you have a minimum of two years’ experience in the installation and configuration of Microsoft Windows desktop and experience of network administration.

 Contractual Details

 Salary:   £20,928 - £22,654 per annum

 Working Time:  37 hours a week Monday to Friday all year round.

 Contract Type:  Permanent

Pension: Local Government Pension Scheme

Leave entitlement:  25 days per year plus bank holidays.
