Learning Resource Centre Assistant (Job Ref:TES1189)

Shrewsbury Colleges Group is Shropshire's largest College with 3,250 16-19 year olds, 2,000 adults, 1,200 apprentices and 360 higher education students. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic person to work in our busy Learning Resource Centres on the three campuses across the Shrewsbury Colleges Group. You will work as part of a team to support students and staff, by undertaking library duties, and supporting students to develop their information research skills to help them achieve in their chosen course. You will be able to demonstrate good IT skills and have a sound knowledge of MS Office as well as excellent organisational skills. Previous experience of working in a customer-orientated library environment using automated systems is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided.
