We provide Further Education and Higher Education at our Campuses at Bishop Burton College near Beverley and at Riseholme College near Lincoln which includes a brand new Showground Campus featuring state of the art teaching environments, engineering workshops, sports facilities, world class laboratories and an industry leading animal management unit. The College animal facilities house a multitude of exotic animals including; meerkats, wallabies, rhea, reptiles, primate and companion species. We also have a commercial boarding kennels and grooming parlour to support teaching and learning practices. At our Bishop Burton campus we have undergone a multi-million pound campus development programme including significant investment in state of the art teaching and learning facilities, sports facilities, a commercially run farm and an international standard equestrian facility.

Working across both our Beverley and Lincoln campuses you will be an enthusiastic Higher Education Animal Management Lecturer. You will be responsible for delivering modules such as Research Design and Statistical analysis, Animal Science and Animal Welfare and legislation. You will also be responsible for quality improvements including lecturing to groups of students, lesson preparation, planning, marking of assessed work, and writing examinations.

Educated to degree level in an Animal based subject with English and Maths at Level 2 or equivalent you will also have related industry experience. A good understanding of statistical analysis is essential and if you don’t currently hold a teaching qualification, a willingness to work towards one is required. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to evaluate your own teaching and learning.
