£19,843 - £21,904 (fte) pro rata 

(Actual Salary: £16,714 – £18,450 Per Annum) 

32.5 hours per week – Term time only

Required as soon as possible

Required to start as soon as possible, we are looking to appoint an experienced teaching assistant who will support pupils and parents to establish a positive reading culture and improve literacy levels for our students.  The core focus will be to raise students’ reading ages through targeted intervention in one to one and small group tuition.

This is an exciting time for our new school as we develop a culture of high expectations focussed on delivering outstanding achievement for all of our students. 2019 (the last series of actual exams) delivered the best ever GCSE results for the school and a recent OFSTED inspection upgraded the academy in every category.

Working in close partnership with the Redhill Academy Trust, we are also a member of The Redhill College of Leadership and Development and as such there are excellent CPD opportunities and the chance to work alongside other high performing schools in the region.  Park Vale became an academy, sponsored by The Redhill Academy Trust, on 1 September 2016.
