(3 days) 22.2 hours per week, term time only plus 2 weeks during the holidays


We are looking for a School ICT Technician to join our school to run the support and maintenance of the whole school ICT infrastructure. 


You will be managing school networks and computer systems including carrying out reactive and proactive maintenance tasks on all ICT equipment, operating systems and core applications.


The ICT technician will become a familiar and friendly face around school helping develop ICT best practice and offering advice and guidance on all things tech!


Successful applicants will be able to problem solve and work effectively with staff across the school.


The successful applicant will have knowledge of:

Imaging computers on the school’s network, and creating new user accounts

Maintenance of IT hardware

Software updates and installations

Backup and disaster recovery management

Cyber security and defence

Server maintenance

ICT troubleshooting

iPad deployment and set up

Interactive smart boards


The applicant will also have the ability to work proactively and be able to show good planning and organisation skills to ensure effective running of the school’s IT.


We want applicants to have good communication and time management skills and bring ideas to support all staff and students in their use of ICT across the curriculum.


Experience of working in a primary school setting would be beneficial but not essential.
