Secondary English Teacher - August 2022

About the School:-

The Royal Grammar School Guildford in Qatar opened in September 2016 with the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1. Based on the same principles as RGS Guildford, UK, RGS Qatar has quickly gained a reputation for providing outstanding education.  RGS Qatar currently educates girls and boys from Nursery to Year 11 on an attractive campus 10 minutes’ drive north of central Doha. Having established an excellent team of staff and outstanding facilities the school will open Year 12 in August 2022.

About the role:-

We are looking for a Secondary  English Teacher to join our team in August 2022 , who has experience of GCSE/IGCSE and are comfortable teaching from Year 7 to Year 13. Candidates must have:- 

- An undergraduate degree in English Language or English Literature 

- A PGCE in Secondary teaching 

- Experience teaching up to GCSE and A Level

- QTS and have completed NQT Induction (  This post is not suitable for NQTs / ECTs )

- 3-5 years of experience, preferably at the UK and/or an International School in GCC
