OUR SCHOOL:
Aloha College is a school with over 30 years’ experience in providing a British-based education to an International Community representing over 57 nationalities. We are a school for boys and girls aged from 3 – 18 years.
Aloha College follows the English National Curriculum, IGCSE’s and A-Level. In addition to its education in English, Aloha College also offers education in Spanish Language and Culture, enabling students to gain qualifications from both the British and Spanish examination system.
Academic achievements are exceedingly important, with many of our pupils ending their learning journey with offers from top universities all over the world.

Passionate, committed and well organised teachers with qualified teacher status and a degree in a relevant subject. A commitment to active learning in the classroom with a willingness to participate fully in all aspects of school life within and beyond the classroom is a prerequisite.
Candidates for this post should be able to demonstrate that they have a creative approach towards their teaching, a desire for continuous self-improvement and highly effective assessment methods, ensuring that students are challenged, motivated and inspired towards excellence. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build good working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, as well as excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are required. A commitment to providing high levels of pastoral care for students is essential.
A teacher of Chemistry at Aloha will be expected to teach across the full ability range from 11-18. The ability to demonstrate experience of teaching the British National Curriculum at Key Stage 3; the Cambridge IGCSE syllabus at Key Stage 4 and either A level or IB diploma level Chemistry at Key Stage 5 will be an advantage.
