A fantastic teaching role is available working with highly rewarding special needs school settings in Salford, who are looking for an SEN Primary Teacher with either the experience or desire to work with pupils with moderate, severe and complex needs. 


The role

This is an ongoing role, the schools are looking for an SEN Primary Teacher who is calm, professional and confident teaching within a specialist setting. Those with experience implementing EHC plans will be at an advantage. Many of the pupils have limited verbal communication skills, so experience with Makaton, British Sign Language, and/or PECS would be an advantage.

Requirements

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for the SEND Teacher position are:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status QTS or QTLS.

• Be dedicated and supportive, an excellent communicator and passionate about working with students with SEND.

• Be willing to work in the Salford area.
