The Role 

Newton International School D Ring is looking for a SENCo to join our diverse community.  

What we are looking for

Dynamic and creative practitioners who are confident when working with the children with additional needs and associated schemes and resources.   We are looking for candidates who are able to employ a range of strategies to provide high quality support for our children.   This role is part of our leadership team, the SENDCo will be responsible for a team of staff within the AESN Department. 

The ideal candidate will have experience with children with additional needs, be able to display a high standard of both written and spoken English.  They must be willing to contribute to all aspects of the school vision, mission and values.    

Experienced teachers with qualifications and experience working with children with additional needs.   

Working knowledge of English Curriculum desired but not essential 

Bachelor Degree in Education or equivalent

About Newton International School - D-Ring

Newton International School - D Ring is a co-educational all-through independent school based in Doha in Qatar.

All pupils at the school follow the National Curriculum of England and Wales, with certification from the Edexcel Examination Board and the Cambridge International Examination Centre. Muslim pupils are taught Islamic Studies. Pupils who are native and non-native speakers are also both offered Arabic. All students participate in additional subjects including Physical Education, Music and ICT.
