The Governors of this inspirational 11-16 mixed Catholic College are seeking to appoint a Senior Science Technician to work 36 hours per week, term time only including 5 INSET days. This is a permanent role. Applications from those seeking a part time role are welcome.

 

Our school is on an exciting and transformational school improvement journey. We have a superb team of people and staff morale is very high. This is an opportunity to be part of a very special team of people. In December 2022, we will join the Corpus Christi Catholic Academy Trust (CCCAT). Applicants appointed after this date will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of the CCCAT, as well as the benefits.

 

The successful candidate will be expected to oversee, and provide direction to, others preparing chemicals, apparatus and equipment. Appropriate training will be provided as required. Experience in assisting Physics experiments and proficient ICT skills would be desirable.

 

The Science Department has six laboratories and a teaching room. There are seven teachers in the department and a technician.
