Due to increasing numbers of Young People seeking our excellent provision we have a rare opportunity to join one of the country’s largest Special Schools for young people with a diagnosis of Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome and Speech and Language Disorders. The school is located in Derbyshire.

We are looking for an excellent teacher to lead and develop this Core Faculty within the school. The successful applicant should have knowledge and experience of teaching across Key Stages 3 – 5 along with extensive middle management experience.

Alderwasley Hall School and Sixth Form are based in Derbyshire. We are close to the towns of Matlock, Belper and Wirksworth.

Alderwasley Hall School and Sixth Form provides exceptional education for day and residential students aged 5 to 20. We transform the lives of young people with High-Functioning ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), Asperger’s Syndrome, Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and Developmental Language Disorder. We’re also highly experienced in meeting associated diagnoses and needs, such as Selective Mutism, anxieties and phobias.
