Job overview

The governors of Essendine Primary School seek to appoint for January 2022, a class teacher to cover a maternity leave in Reception class.

We were graded as good in November 2017 and are looking for an outstanding and enthusiastic practitioner to help us on our journey to outstanding. 

Early Years experience is essential. Ideally, you will also have subject leadership experience and be able to evidence how you have supported colleagues to improve their practice.   

We have worked hard to bring about the huge changes in our school and are excited by the future. You will be part of a staff team confident to embrace change and be innovative in their thinking. You will also be well supported and challenged by governors and warmly respected by children and parents, who value education.

In September 2022, Essendine Primary School federated with Hallfield Primary School to form the North Westminster Federation.
