Teacher of Chemistry

Hall School Wimbledon, a vibrant and proudly non-selective, co-educational day school, is seeking to appoint a well-qualified and inspirational Teacher of Chemistry for September 2022 (January 2023 start will be considered).

The successful candidate will possess an excellent degree in Science and be able to demonstrate both the ability and the passion to teach this important subject up to GCSE and A Level. The ability to teach general Science in KS3, or Mathematics in KS3, is desirable. 

We are defined by our outstanding pastoral care here at HSW, and our desire to tailor our teaching to meet the needs of every individual. We have small classes of 12-15 pupils with a wide range of ability. Our staff are highly supportive and caring. Subject expertise is fundamental, but we are also looking for someone who is approachable, creative and fun. 

Early career teachers are warmly invited to apply, as are colleagues with more experience. This is offered as a full-time position, though part-time will also be considered for the right candidate. 

Salary scale offered is Main Pay Range M1-M5, Outer London.
