We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic, and committed teacher with the drive and ability to deliver lessons that enable all students to reach their full potential. The teacher of computer science will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with the ability to inspire young people. The ability to teach computer science to GCSE and A-Level is required.
We are looking to appoint a person who has strong subject knowledge and who is a reflective practitioner.
Students at the school greatly enjoy their science lessons and are ambitious to move into Computer science related careers.
The successful applicant will join a team of strong practitioners who work together to inspire students to succeed.

Hillcrest School and Sixth Form Centre is a non-selective 11 – 18 girls’ school with approximately 650 students. Girls are admitted in Years 7-11 (ages 11-16) and both boys and girls are admitted to our mixed Sixth Form Centre. The school is a member of The Oaks Collegiate, a close network of 10 Secondary and 7 Primary Schools in South-West Birmingham. Hillcrest has well established systems and structures in place to support staff at all stages of their career journey.
