Chigwell School is seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic, and committed Teacher of Computer Science to join our highly successful school from September 2022. The successful candidate will be able to teach students from KS3 to KS5 including GCSE and A-Level Computer Science and contribute to all aspects of the Computer Science department’s work, both inside and outside the classroom. 

The post would suit a new entrant to the profession, a talented NQT (ECT) or a more experienced teacher looking for progression. The School has a comprehensive programme of professional development and has helped a number of staff qualify as teachers.

About Chigwell School

Chigwell School is an independent, mixed, Church of England all-through day and boarding school for four to 19-year-olds,  located in Chigwell, Essex. The school has just over 1060 pupils.

The school can trace its history back to 1629, when it was founded originally as a boys’ school. It is run as an educational charity, overseen by a board of governors who are also trustees of that charity.
