At Woodbridge we champion the arts and performance, so we need a drama teacher who can perform!  Woodbridge offers students a unique experience within drama - to learn about the world they live in, to become critical thinkers and develop their skills in oracy, collaboration and creativity.  We are welcoming applications from candidates who are experimental with drama pedagogy, have excellent subject knowledge and create student-centred learning experiences. 

The Drama department offers:

  • A Drama curriculum across all the Key Stages. All courses attract large numbers of students.

Woodbridge High School is a thriving, ethnically diverse, successful comprehensive secondary school that serves its local community in the heart of Woodford. The school is a ten form entry school with 300 students in each year group.

The sixth form of 400 students continues to prosper with the majority of our students staying on after year 11. The teaching staff are all specialists in their separate areas and permanently contracted to the school. Year on year the school attracts a high number of first-choice applications for year 7 entry, with a record number of first choice places allocated this year. The school has a diverse curriculum that meets the needs of all the students and provides them with a pathway towards their chosen careers. The school is a happy, flourishing and mutually respectful place of learning.

The latest Ofsted report describes it as a place where students 'receive an excellent education' and where 'behaviour in and around the school is exceptional' . Government figures reveal that students at Woodbridge achieve beyond their expected performance levels.
