A BISU Early Years teacher must be dedicated to the well-being of the children in his/her care, able to think creatively, have a ‘team-first’ attitude and a commitment to the school’s ethos and values.  He/she is willing to take risks to develop best practice and accept that challenge is an integral part of the teaching profession.

We are in our 25th year and have schools in two cities with 600 students from Nursery to Year 13. The international curriculum is inquiry-based and mirrors the EYFS and National Curriculum in England. We offer Cambridge IGCSE, A-level and IBDP in Secondary. As a British international school, we are a proud member of COBIS and the Black Sea Schools Group.

We require our teachers to have:

• Degree and QTS (or equivalent);

• A commitment to a constructivist approach to learning;

• A willingness to contribute to the life of our school as an active team member;

• A genuine interest in promoting and providing quality learning and teaching;

• A desire to continue to develop personally and professionally;

• UK training or experience working in a British International school is a very strong advantage.

Dnipro is one of the country’s largest cities. Situated on the Dnieper River the city is not only famous in Ukraine for its commercial industry but also remarkable embankments, boulevards, spacious parks and long history. The International airport Dnipro (DNK) offers direct flights to and from Austria, Turkey, Israel and other destinations. Flights to Kyiv are less than 1 hour.

This is a small, family school, N-Year 12, of less than 100 students.  

We provide a very competitive salary, gratuity & benefits package which includes accommodation, a travel payment, resettlement allowance, access to CPD and medical cover. A 'successful completion of contract' payment is payable after 2 years. 90% of our staff stay 3 years or more.

Class sizes are small (<21) and all have a local AT. PPA is guaranteed.
