Tes is supporting the appointment of an exciting and innovative teacher of History to join a friendly, dynamic and collaborative department. Applications are welcome from new and experienced teachers able to teach History throughout the ability range at Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. Excellent support is available from a very experienced team. All students study History at Key Stage 3 and it is a popular option at Key Stage 4 and continues growing in popularity at A Level. The school need you to have a love of teaching and a willingness to trial new ideas and be a team player who puts the good of students at the heart of all that you do. 

The school was judged as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in May 2022. It is a truly inclusive, mixed, multi-ethnic 11-18 school that embraces all aspects of comprehensive education. The curriculum is well balanced and reflects the needs of all students and the local community.
