Teacher of Mandarin

South Hampstead High School, the 2022 Independent Girls’ School of the Year, has the exciting opportunity for a dynamic and innovative individual to join their vibrant languages department as Teacher of Mandarin.

You will teach Mandarin to students from Years 7 to 11, with the possibility of teaching Year 12 students from September 2023. You will join the languages department at a time of growth, as we hope to introduce A-level Mandarin for the first time in September 2023. This provides the added opportunity to help develop and make an impact on our Mandarin language provision.

We are looking for a highly motivated team player with vision, flair and humour. You will be an individual with vision and perspective; someone who is willing to take the initiative in this crucial stage of Mandarin development at the school. You ideally will be a qualified teacher with a proven track record, though applications are also welcome from NQTs and those looking to begin a career in teaching.
