Job overview

Breckland School is seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher of Girls’ PE to join our team of passionate and driven subject specialists. You will be joining Breckland School at an exciting time of expansion and development following the judgement of ‘good’ at the most recent Ofsted inspection in November 2022. We are looking for a colleague who is confident enough to try new methods and reflect on how they can improve, who wants to share their experiences with, and learn from their colleagues, and who will put our students and their best interests at the heart of their teaching.

Approximately 50% of the cohort have selected GCSE PE as an option over a two-year key stage, studying the Edexcel syllabus. At Key Stage 3, a three year course, we are finalising an exciting new curriculum which is broad, balanced and promotes equality of opportunity. A well-attended range of extra-curricular activities are also provided for our students. To hear more about our school, please click here to view a short video.

If you want to work in a supportive, progressive department, where you have the opportunity to teach your passion, where students are well behaved, and where your contributions are sought and valued, we wish to hear from you.

For an informal discussion, please contact Assistant Principal Laura Woods by email lwoods@brecklandschool.co.uk
