Job overview

We have a part-time, temporary vacancy within our Infant Department to start after half term on 22nd February 2021 or shortly after. The vacancy is offered as a temporary contract for 12 months to February 2022.

The role is based in the Infant Department during the 2020-21 academic year and may support an Infant or Junior School Form from September 2021, depending on the operational needs of the school.

Teaching Assistants work term time only to include all Professional Development Days (INSET) as set out in the school calendar. In addition, there is a requirement to support a small number of events and information evenings each academic year and overtime will be paid for attendance at these events and evenings.

The role is for 29 hours per week from 08.30 to 15.30 on two days and  from 08.30 to 13.30 on three days each week.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant childcare qualification to at least NVQ Level 3 and will offer excellent communication skills and an ability to work to targets and deadlines.

ISI Report 2022

During an ISI Inspection in late 2022 both the achievement of the pupils, including their academic development and the personal development of the pupils were found to be excellent - the highest possible classification. The Inspection also looked at the School’s compliance with the regulatory standards and requirements. PGS met all the standards required.
