Teaching Assistant - Term time only

Grafton Primary School is a friendly, welcoming and diverse multi-cultural school with over 30 additional languages spoken by the children and their families and is set within the urban area of Dagenham. Our children are at the heart of everything we do.  We are looking to appoint motivated and hardworking Teaching Assistants who are committed to providing our pupils with high quality learning opportunities within a safe and stimulating learning environment. This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated and supportive team.  The school aims to provide a curriculum that meets the needs of all pupils. 

Successful candidates will have prior classroom experience; a knowledge of the curriculum and enjoys finding creative ways to deliver the curriculum to meet the needs of all pupil and; •have a minimum of GCSE A-C in English and Maths • hold at least an NVQ 2 (or equivalent) qualification; •demonstrate high expectations for all children as part of a clear understanding of children’s early development and learning; •communicate clearly and  interact skilfully in children’s play to move their learning forward; • recognise the valuable contribution that working in partnership with parents/carers has on children’s learning; •demonstrate a commitment to their own professional development
