Job overview

The post holder will develop and grow apprenticeships and other workplace learning to meet employer and learner needs, as well as being responsible for the day to day delivery of a range of WBL programmes. 

You will be responsible for developing strategies to increase employer engagement and business development in order to increase the recruitment of apprentices as well as responsible for the planning and design of all aspects of the work-based curriculum. 

The successful candidate will have a minimum of aLevel 3 in a relevant subject, an A1 Assessor qualification/ TAQA, V1 Internal verification qualification and a lead IQA qualification (or a willingness to work towards) as well as teaching/ assessing experience in a relevant area. You will have successfully managed a large team of staff.

Cambridge Regional College is a co-educational further education college located in Cambridge. Providing places to students aged 14 and over, the college has several thousand learners young and old, full and part-time. Cambridge Regional College has seen extensive redevelopment and modernisation over the years, and as such can boast of a wide range of modern teaching and recreational facilities, with the most recent major development, which opened in 2011, providing the college with a brand new Low Carbon Centre. The college also plays host to a number of vocational teaching workshops and study areas.
