Quizzes to lessen the burden on teachers. So please relax while your pupils revise Maths for SATs.
There are 8 quizzes: Multiplication & Division; Time; Fraction; Measures; and 4 Mixed Problems. These quizzes last for no more than 10 minutes and may be used for revision, Oral/Mental starters, assessment, or as activities.
Quizzes/Videos may be paused at any point to allow pupils sufficient time to answer the questions.
Some suggestions on how to make effective use of these quizzes:
Allow pupils to work through the quizzes at least once while assessing. Then repeat as many times as required.
Where appropriate pause the videos and go over the concepts pupils are not confident.
Allow pupils to work individually or in ability pairs at their own pace on computers.
