Perfect for English Literature and Drama GCSE and A Level students studying Arthur Miller’s “The Crucible”.

Appropriate for:

  • GCSE Drama Edexcel (Section A)
  • GCSE Drama AQA (Component 1 Section B)
  • A Level Drama OCR
  • GCSE English OCR, AQA and Edexcel

This board game acts as a revision and consolidation tool, testing students’ prior understanding of quotations, characters and the order of events in ‘The Crucible’. The playing cards included are a range of difficulty, providing stretch and challenge to lower- and higher-ability participants.

To use, the teacher should download the ‘Class Pack’ which contains one copy of the Board Game and one copy of the Board Game Quotation Cards. These can then be printed as many times as necessary (each pair of students require one board and one set of quotation cards) and laminated for repeated use. Teachers will also need access to one dice and two counters per pair. In pairs or threes students ask each other questions about quotations (either “Who said it?” or “Which act?”) in order to progress around the board.

One round of this activity can entertain and educate students for up to 50 minutes. Alternatively you could create a revision tournament.

Full instructions provided in the game.
