In this file, you will find 11 weeks of reading lessons for the ILLUSTRATED version of the story ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’ Please note that the pages shown are in line with the illustrated version so will need to be tweeked for the paperback.
This is ideal for whole class reading lessons based around the story. The lessons go up to chapter The Mirror of Erised and include 3/4 lessons per week. They also include an extension question to push your higher ability children.
Ideally, these questions are suited for year 4 and 5, but could be used for a lower year 6 cohort.
The children have loved this unit and have been very engaged - a good variety of question style and activities.
