Teacher and Student Resources Pack. This teacher’s pack explores the experiences of Kingston’s community during the First World War. Discover the often forgotten stories: Conscientious Objectors, Women and Children on the Home Front, Belgian Refugees, Over age and Under age soldiers, Nurses, Aviation, War Work and War Heroes. This resource has been produced as a supplement to 1914: Remembering Kingston at War, an exhibition running at Kingston Museum until 16th August 2014. All sections can be used independently, however, as part of your school syllabus.
