A series of lessons on whether King Lear is truly a pagan or a Christian play.

A lesson on the role of religion and its relationship to justice in the course of the play. Students are asked to think about and discuss whether the play is Christian in its portrayal of justice, or pagan in its lack of justice at the end. Includes literary criticism and an essay task at the end of the presentation.
