A collection of photos from Capernwray dive centre in Carnforth, Lancashire. The disused quarry is now popular with swimmers (especially training for triathalon and English Channel swims) and scuba divers throughout the year, as well as having changing facilities and a restaurant.

Feel free to use these photos with your students as part of your geography lesson on the benefits of quarries as places for leisure and recreation.
