Writing an Adventure Story KS2 (Planning, Lessons and Resources)
This lesson pack is designed to help KS2 pupils to learn how to write an adventure story based on the book ‘Black Dog’ by Levi Pinfold, using Sentence Stacking lessons based on the latest in learning research (using Rosenshines’s Principles).
In this sequence of planning you will find daily lesson plans linked to the national curriculum, daily lesson resources, a WAGOLL story and a guide to using sentence stacking lessons. This planning is designed for the Year 3 and Year 4 curriculum but can be adapted for other year groups.
Lessons are child centred with independent, paired and group activities. Use the detailed and flexible planning to adapt to the individual needs of your class.
