A two week SOL which covers AO3 (context) and introduction to language analyses of a novel. Students are given different resources to understand the context and why it is important in studying the background of a novel for their GCSE. The opening of the novel is used to analyse the effect of language.
Resource can be used as a stand alone to understand context or an introduction to novel if teaching it in KS3.
