This is a PowerPoint presentation which was intended to prepare students for the IB English Paper 2 examination. Students were studying A Doll’s House alongside The Crucible. This can be adapted to suit students at sixth form or GCSE level. The presentation sets out a close study of the play - based around a class reading and the watching of dramatised versions of the play - and does explore character, theme, context and structure. There is a close focus on approaches to the exam and on essay writing. These can be left out or adapted to suit different curriculum needs.
