This is the 3rd lesson in the AQA A GCSE thematic unit of work for ‘Religion, human rights and social justice’ and it is focused on the religious teachings about wealth. This lesson covers both the Christian and Islamic attitudes towards obtaining and using wealth. The lesson is easily altered to take into account another religious view point should you be covering a different religion.

The lesson has been fully resourced to a high standard with a range of differentiated tasks (using the good, better, ASPIRE system). The lesson is designed to challenge the students as well as make them familiar with new concepts, knowledge and how to apply their learning to the exam. There is a 4 mark exam question in this lesson so that the students are constantly being reminded of exam technique and what will be expected of them in terms of application of knowledge.

I will be adding lessons on a weekly basis so please keep looking!
