Three lessons which cover the social changes during the 1960s. The first lesson explores four key developments, the abolition of capital punishment, the legalistion of abortion, the decriminalisation of homosexuality and the divorce act. There is information on each area plus an embedded video clip. Students are required to complete the included table.
The second and third lesson explore the issue of education; the first lesson looking at the development of the comprehensive system and the second lesson, the development of higher education and the open university.

There is an embedded video clip in each lesson, a source to analyse within the education lesson and an essay to plan within the higher education lesson.
