Track the progress of the pupils throughout their DT NEA task with this gantt chart and guidance booklet. The booklet is a guide through each stage of the marking criteria with a set of goals to help all pupils achieve at Key Stage 4. Using the AQA specification this booklet consists of a checklist for pupils, a break down of each Area of Assessment (AO) as well as a suggestion of sheets that will help your pupils illustrate their knowledge and understanding to the examiner.

I have printed this booklet off in previous years and it has been a tremendous help in the tracking of work and showing pupils exactly what they have to do. Having this at parents evenings has made it very straight forward in discussing what needs to be done and using intervention in collaboration with this booklet has been a great aid. I have added a teacher comment box for you to add comments that you want pupils to remember. You can see that deadlines have been set and this falls in line with the guided delivery time providing you have 1 hour lesson a week.

Keeping within the guidelines of the examination board there are only suggestions of evidence that could be used. There is also a very simple check box for teachers to tick off pupils work as it is completed and meets the criteria. This will reduce your work effort when it comes to the final marking and submitting of marks to the Examination board.
