Comparing Viewpoints lesson attached.

This lesson is used to allow students to write from viewpoints and then consider how their own language choices are effective in conveying their opinion.

Students write about why they hate exams (ha!) before attempting a commentary about why they chose specific language/linguistic devices and the effect of those.

Then they write about why exams are good before completing the same commentary.

Finally, they are going to compare the techniques and language choices they made in each of the paragraphs.

WAGOLLs are included for love/hate about pizza, commentaries of those paragraphs and comparison of the techniques used in both.
