Bayonet Charge - activities and resources

PowerPoint resources (one for teacher, one for students to work from) on the poem Bayonet Charge.
This resource focuses on the presentation of patriotism within the poem. Students begin by exploring their understanding of the term patriotism which is then developed through analysis of recruitment posters from WW1. Following on from this is a copy of the poem with questions focused on specific parts of the poem designed to support students to identify poetic methods used and rxplore effects on the audience. All questions are focused on language, form, structure and interpretation of ideas.
