This worksheet provides a steady introduction to bearings, starting with transferring between compass notation, three-digit notation and degrees. The worksheet includes examples and tasks of drawing diagrams of real-life scenarios, calculating the bearing from a given counterclockwise example challenging and developing the flexibility of thinking, as well as a a simple map-based question developing problem-solving abilities.
Worksheet would function well as a small set of teacher-led examples, or small group tasks, depending on learning approach and current level of study.
