Unit of work with 28 gorgeous images to prompt writing to describe. This focusses on building vocabulary as well as sensory language writing skills through games as well as longer exercises and homework. Peer review and self-marking are supported plus exemplars for students to annotate and guide their own writing. Field-tested SMART targets help students raise their grade.

This differentiated scheme is suitable for all abilities between 11-16. At GCSE it can be used for controlled assessment, as well as those who will be tested purely by exam in 2017.

These resources can stand alone or blend seamlessly with any Creative Writing unit. They have been trialled in two Outstanding schools as well as one to one work with reluctant writers.

An easy £3 - while certainly very pretty, useful in the hands of experienced teachers and not really for new teachers looking for more concrete plans and practical ideas.

Wow, this is really excellent for helping students who struggle with descriptive writing. Thank you for publishing this - well worth the money.

Some excellent ideas which I can use/adapt for Year 10 who are scared to death of creative writing. Thank you, well worth £2
