This lesson looks at the changes in society in Germany between 1924 and 1929 and looks at the attitudes towards these changes. The lesson started off with a wordsearch (attached) and tasks linked to the wordsearch, including challenge tasks. Students then complete a worksheet (attached) on changes in the standard of living, cultural changes in the Weimar Republic, changes for women in the Weimar Republic. The answers are included in the lesson. Students then analyse what had helped the Weimar Republic politically and what had harmed the Weimar Republic. There is an exam question included in the lesson as well as a quiz on the Weimar Republic (answers to the quiz included). There is also homework attached with this lesson.
