Here I show my colorful and abstract painting art on canvas, in free and printable images. My artist-name is Fons Heijnsbroek. My contributed images here contain modern art: colorful compositions, made in simple, basic forms and colors. These painted images are free to download and to use as art-print in high resolutions - for if you just like to hang or want to use them in art teaching.

I hope these basic paintings give visual suggestions for children and teachers about how to arrange or to ‘built’ a painting for themselves.
It is all about colors and relations between colors and forms. Moreover the images tell visually a lot about questions of contrast and balance in a painting.

I painted most of these paintings between 1997 - 2002, after visiting a beautiful show of Aboriginal painting art in The Old Church in Amsterdam. Their art approach taught me a lot about the question of how to construct an image. Moreover they inspired me to use simple forms for the construction of my paintings…
The Aboriginal artists learned me how to handle the inevitable chaos of gestural painting, which I love to do.
