Designed for Grade 8 to 12 pupils, this scheme of work allows pupils to explore character, theme and social context to an in-depth level. Pupils undergo a dramatic analysis of the reasons behind migrant workers leaving to find work, and the often painful effects of them doing so.
Each session is followed up by a written analysis designed to explore character and theme and the effectiveness of the ways drama can be used to both explore and portray ideas and effects.
