A series of powerpoint lessons from the Advancing Physics A-level scheme of work. The powerpoints are designed to introduce and contextualise concepts surrounding electromagnetism including: a history of electricity; generators; motors; transformers; flux & flux linkage; emf; Faraday's Laws; Lenz's Law; eddies; permeance and permeability.
They are crammed with useful links, silly animations and bad puns. I used them as the basis to trial the idea of the "reversed classroom" where students where encouraged to work their way through them for homework and understand the material before coming to the lesson so we could discuss ideas and misconceptions as well as attempting some exam questions.
I also got students to research different types of motors and generators (squirrel cage motors; induction motors; rotating field motors; 3-phase generators etc) and present them to the class.

Thanks I had lost some of these slides from advancing physics, very useful across all specifications. (although happy to have moved away from OCR-B spec).
